A Friendly atmosphere and an overall nice event. Getting in to the festival was nice and easy and there was plenty of space around my tent the entire time (pitched quite near the arena entrance.) The food (especially the pizza stall) was great and reasonably priced. The only issue is I think it really has potential to expand, maybe to two nights, slightly bigger crowd and increase the size of the smaller stages are all easily capable in the location, also with camping the night before might be handy! | ||||||||||||||

Someone stole my phone, money and camera whilst i was asleep in my tent. When i realised it was gone i asked security for help as i had a fairly good idea who it was. Only to be told there was nothing they could do about it... I've been to plenty of other festivals/ gigs and nothing like this has ever happened before. I won't be reccomending it to anyone. | ||||||||||||||

 workoutplan Offline Points:31 Posts: 1 : 1 | Cloud 9 2011 Overall rating: Overall I did enjoy the festival (got drunk and the weather just about held out) but there were a few things that spoilt it for me. The sound system when Ed Sheeran was playing was terrible, I don't know what was going on but it ruined his set for me. Campsite could've been a little bigger, you had the space to make it larger but by the time everyone had set up you could barely move for tents. Positives; staff were friendly and helpful and security were polite. Camp area was nice and close to the actual festival. Beer was reasonable price wise. | ||||||||||||||

Music was great. Food & drinks were surprisingly cheap! Was expecting to have to pay alot for alcohol but all were reasonably priced. Even the toilets were good! Defiantely go again next year :) | ||||||||||||||

RobertTunnicl iff Offline Points:28 Posts: 1 | Cloud 9. A festival virgins view. Overall rating: My first festival, nice and intimate, some may say small. I didn't feel over whelmed. Organising was good, from the car parking to the camping area. Friendly stewards and security. Weather stayed good, bands and dj's were great. Robin Pierce band,Gareth Brookes and not forgetting Bez. Food and drink excellent, very little queuing. I had a great day, and will definitely be going to more festivals. | ||||||||||||||

You always get things not turning up, so lighten up, the essentials were there, an awesome soundsystem, a great party crowd, enough selection of music and drinks, food could of been better and i am sure it will be next time. This festival has got the right ingredients for something special. Experience it yourself next year it will be just what the doctor ordered. Nice 1 organizers i am still on Cloud 9. | ||||||||||||||

Overall rating: Had a wicked time, and I think most people I attended with did aswell, I didnt hear a single comment like 'Oh no! where are the fair ground rides and pork!'. Was and is all about the music which was varied enough to keep anyone entertained, kudos to the purple dome and dub tent were truly awesome, and of course the silent disco a true head twister! | ||||||||||||||

NickMullis Offline Points:29 Posts: 5 | Reply to deadmanjones Overall rating: The Scarlet Harlots Cancelled a couple of weeks before the event due to much needed recording time in the run up to the band getting signed, Hot Club De Paris was added as a replacement. This was emailed to all the facebook members and is why they were taken off all the lineups. the poster was changed everywhere but the website as I couldn't do it without messing up the whole site. We had alot of trouble with the council, police etc who ended up forcing us to reduce the size of the main area by nearly half, and they also disallowed us from having the fairground rides and Zorb balls one week before the event. The lack of space ruled out the banter tent as we couldn't reduce the size of any the music arenas. We were unable to put on the food ourselves because of the amount of time spent rectifying all the problems that were pointed out by the council etc. This is why we had to outsource it to the catering companies last minute. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy yourself but the vast majority of people did, It is very hard to put on an first year event especially with such a late start (due to licences) and when 90% of the time you do have is spent trying to stop it from getting shut down. We have learnt a lot this year which we will be able to take into next years and we hope you will give it another go so we can prove to you the full potential of cloud 9 given a good amount of time. | ||||||||||||||

No they won't "there will be a traditional hog roast, noodle bar, local ice creams and a selection of other eateries" Another slight typing error here, organisers meant to write "there will be two burger bars whose combined vegetarian range will be chips." | ||||||||||||||

We had our toddlers with us, which meant that we couldn't sit directly in any of the tents, but the small size of the festival arena meant that we had a sound-clash all day. It was therefore really hard to really appreciate the music.
It was great to have separate family camping & there was plenty of room, the toilets were fairly clean there too. Easy to get to & from the car - a bonus when you have tonnes of stuff for kids!
The biggest disappointment was how many people just left their litter everywhere - not cool at all. The main camping looked like a pigsty the next day.
Overall, I did enjoy it & would go again :)
