Mikee-Freedom's Review of Soul + Funky at Dojo Lounge

Another Bank Holiday & yet another great night @ Dojo Sid Lawrence kicked off the night with a 2 hour funk & raregroove set that got heads nodding toes tapping and feet onto the dancefloor. Next up Dj Bunjy mix n blending old & new Hiphop & R&B & Ragga to get the crowd sweating then was my turn Mikee Freedom and after Bunjy had played most the tunes i had picked out my box i had to turn it full circle and select another selection of fine cuts.Started off with Ragga but the crowd wanted a little more up tempo so switched quickly to old skool hiphop & soul classics then into the party hiphop & funk flavours alongside Joe Peng who kept the crowd entertained on the mic the attmosphere was awesome great crowd great music and we even had an extra hour at the end so the next time you see our names on a flyer or web page for wherever we are playing come and check out one of our nights for yourselves.
