The first lady of deep house comes to Leeds this weekend to celebrate five dazzling years of Brighton label Hypercolour.
The underground house and techno label is set to mark its fifth anniversary with a special event at Leeds' newly refurbished and re-kitted Warehouse on Dec 10th, and they're bringing a shed load of label mates along for the ride.
The Brighton label has risen to the top of the pile with a wide remit of off-kilter dancefloor sounds from the likes of Mark Henning and Kris Wadsworth as well as some of tonights guests. Namely Maya Jane Coles, who has fast become the first lady of deep house music in 2011 with a number of killer releases like 'What They Say' and DJ sets at places like Fabric and WMC. November saw the mistress release a new EP on Hypercolour whilst a new album is hotly anticipated in the New Year.

- Event: 5 Years of Hypercolour - Maya Jane Coles, Tom Demac +more at The Warehouse
- Venue: The Warehouse

Next up is another key member of the family, Tom Demac. His simmering productions for Hypercolour - as well as Liebe*Detail have won him a bulging DJ diary that takes in everywhere in the UK as well as places like Space in Ibiza.
Alongside him will be one of the bosses, Alex Jones, whose own Disappointing Dancefloors EP earlier this year really toyed with the boundaries of leftfield tech house, as do his freaky DJ sets and other releases for the likes of No 19 and Vitalik.
Co-founders Cedric Maison and Ste Roberts are respected DJ talents on the British circuit, linking all the oddball influences of Hypercolour in their considered DJ sets.
As well as all that, Filth residents Luke Pompey, Cubiq and Danny Savage will ensure room 2 is just as bouncing as the main arena.
