There’s an undeniable Gallic flair to the Fabric 70 mix compilation. The long running series benefits this time round from the Appolonia trio, consisting of Frenchmen Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom and Shonky. Describing their sound as a meeting of ‘black music and white soul’, the mix is seventeen tracks of whirring funk and shuffling house, featuring Trus’Me, Mood II Swing and two of their own tracks and is out now.
If you want to catch the trio on the flesh the best bet is to head to the colossal Circo Loco in the Arena where they will be playing in August.The evenjt also features a colossoal conglomerate of electronic talent, numbering the likes of Seth Troxler, Maceo Plex and Jamie Jones among the players.
