As the days get warmer and the sun shines harder, Sankeys has been busy staying ahead of the game.

Whilst some venues will be caught short by the smoking ban in the summer, and the fact that there's no better place to be than outside in the open as the evening draws close, Sankeys are building a beautiful terrace to open across Friday 27th and Saturday 28th April, a new addition to one of the UK's most forward thinking and thriving clubs.

A key element of David Vincent's master plan for his club, the Terrace was always seen as an integral element of Sankeys from the first day of planning. And whilst September was not the best time to be building somewhere to freeze and shiver outside upon during the winter, now that summer is fast approaching the time is almost ready for the grand opening of the Terrace.

David says that "I always knew we were going have an outside space for Sankeys and now is the right time to be opening it. I think everyone can see how nice the weather has been recently and hopefully this will carry on through the next few months so people can enjoy being outside at the club. Obviously there's the smoking angle too, so people will be able to do this outside and it won't affect their enjoyment of Sankeys. Again it's something really exciting for the club, the terrace looks great, plus don't forget the lineup itself for the opening weekend - it's pretty immense."

The opening weekend features two huge parties, with Luciano and Gabriel Ananda starring on Friday for Tribal Sessions and Saturday's guest is Eric Prydz with a 3-hour set.
