After an epic year which has seen the Sankeys brand continue to evolve and expand with the opening of Sankeys Ibiza, it's only fitting that the final show of 2011 should be something very special indeed.
And what could be more apt than Heidi's revered show, The Jackathon? One of the club’s most revered residencies, Heidi’s world-touring brand has set up home at Sankeys and set the template for all night sessions.
As one of the world's best female spinners, Heidi will be presiding over the NYE proceedings, with some of the year's brightest names joining her on this suitably sparkly line-up.
Maceo Plex performs live, having released on some of the world’s best underground labels including Treibstoff, Dumb Unit, Cocoon, Audiomatique, Modern Love, Mothership as well as playing some of the best clubs such as Rex, Cocoon, Fabric, Womb.
Dutch techno spinner Lauhaus also guests, along with super-hot producer Subb-an, Leftfoot’s Matt Tolfrey – fresh from the labels’ 5th birthday celebrations earlier in the year – and Sankeys regular Darius Syrossian.
Sankeys’ own Ellesse also stars; architect of Kaluki’s now weekly residency at the club after a brilliant and epoch-shifting summer, Ellesse’s vision and drive has helped shaped the club and he is a rather good DJ to boot.
Having last year won DJ Mag’s immense World’s Best Club accolade, the story at Sankeys carries on, as its new era continues to blossom in the annals of dance music’s rich history. So… Sankeys NYE draws closer – and at the end of this incredible year the club has had, where else would you want to be?
