Organisers of the chaotic Zoo8 festival in Kent earlier this month have apologised after some fans labelled it the "worst festival ever".

According to some festivalgoers, facilities at the three-day event near Ashford were not up to standard and improper organisation meant traffic delays of up to five hours before the weekend started.

Furthermore, headliner Dizzee Rascal pulled out at the last minute, Athlete and The Rascals also withdrew from the festival and Mark Ronson was reported to have demanded his £9,000 fee in cash just minutes before heading on stage.

Matt Dice, the event's co-director, said: "We'll rectify everything from this year and definitely be back for Zoo9."

More than 100 bands played at the festival, including The Cribs, Funeral For A Friend, Ash and The Hives.

Meanwhile, Creamfields attendees are looking forward to seeing Fatboy Slim and Tiesto at the festival this August.ADNFCR-1603-ID-18684147-ADNFCR
