EAST group

about EAST Brand new clubnight at The Wardrobe East features contemporary South Asian live acts and DJs in a range of alternative styles, from hip-hip, jazz and classical through to house, dub, breaks and electronica. Building on the Talvin Singh movement of the 1990s, East is already a recognised clubnight, gaining momentum throughout the last three years, notably featuring at Manchester Mela 2008 with the Contact Theatre, at international music festival Futuresonic and Ear to the Grounds festival D-Percussion.
