The Longfellows first formed in 2007 with Alfie Sharman and Douglas Ayres, writing the very framework of the bands musical concept. With Doug's innovative guitar and Alfie's poetic lyrics, they created some of the bands firsts songs.
Later that year, Joe Grainger was pulled into the band with his catchy rhythm guitar to help add new ideas and body to the tracks.
In 2008, entered Patrick Roberts and Ben Bell into The Longfellows. Patrick with his melodic basslines and the talented Ben, armed with two sticks and a drum kit helped finish off The Longfellows sound.
Now in 2010, after headlining at Halfmoon Putney, Camden's Bull & Gate and The Spice of Life Soho, The Longfellows look to reach out, performing gigs at top class venues.
