Nick Douwma, aka Subfocus has been producing music since he was thirteen. Growing up near Guildford, he got heavily into the DnB scene once he was old enough to sneak into the raves in that area.At the tender age of 19 he came to London to seek his fortune. Luckily, one of his demo CDs was given to Andy C by one of his friends. Andy liked it so much he immediately tried to ring the young Subfocus. Unfortunately his friend had written the number wrongly on the CD.
Andy was impressed enough with the track that he tried to guess the number and was successful.
