La Discothèque celebrates tenth birthday with huge homecoming show

The Manchester-born disco collective will return to Depot Mayfield where it started a decade earlier for its biggest home show, with Basement Jaxx and Groove Armada set to star.

La Discothèque will return to The Warehouse Project for its biggest home show to date on Saturday 7th November. The Manchester-born disco collective celebrates its tenth anniversary by bringing a slew of electronic artists to Depot Mayfield’s five rooms, the site where they began in 2016. 

The collective’s takeover boasts a huge lineup spanning the venue’s five rooms, as Basement Jaxx and Groove Armada lead the action with DJ sets on the Depot stage along with Annie Mac, Dombresky presents: Disco Dom, DJ Paulette, and Carly Foxx; Jayda G, Cassius, and a B2B from Krystal Klear and Gerd Janson are among the names playing the Concourse stage; Archive will host sets from Crazy P and a Krysko & Gina Breeze B2B; and the Star & Garter features a special secret guest joining Meme Gold, Fleetmac Wood, and more. 

Formed in 2016 as an intimate party in Manchester, La Discothèque has ballooned in scale and popularity, and been taken around the world. The collective’s founder Kat Warburton remarked, “Twenty years ago, I was making regular trips to Manchester for The Warehouse Project, staying until the lights came on before catching the first train back to Preston, where I was at university. Back then, I dreamed of one day bringing my own party to this venue, so hosting La Discothèque at The Warehouse Project feels like a genuine full-circle moment.”
