Huge star-studded London gig to raise funds for Jamaican hurricane relief

Ali Campbell, David Rodigan, Boy George, Emeli Sande, and many more come to London to raise funds for Jamaica’s hurricane relief on the 13th Nov.

I Love Jamaica comes to KOKO in London on Thursday 13th November, with all proceeds going to Hurricane Melissa recovery in Jamaica.

Hurricane Melissa hit Jamaica on 28th October, leaving 32 dead, wrecked infrastructure, and many left on the island without water, electricity, and the basic necessities. 12,000 homes have been flooded.

To help aid those affected by the hurricane in Jamaica, Ali Campbell has united some fellow legends to perform, with all proceeds going to Hurricane relief. 

Among those on the star-studded lineup are Ali Campbell, Boy George, General Levy, Emeli Sande, David Rodigan, Bitty McLean, Janet Kay, Carroll Thompson, Becca D, Robbo Ranx, Sir DJ Corey, and more. More artists will be added too. 

Hosts for the night are Big Narstie, Chris Savage, and Kane Brown. 

100% of all booking fees on each ticket on sale with Skiddle will be donated to the fund. 

Organiser Rob Hallett said: “The response from the artistic community has been overwhelming at such short notice. Please support Jamaica in its hour of need. Buy tickets, donate at the website, do whatever you can - ‘many a mickle makes a muckle’."

On behalf of the Government and people of Jamaica, we are deeply appreciative of this very kind gesture by Rob Hallett and the many artists who have graciously agreed to come together to raise much-needed Hurricane Relief funds. We ask the wider public in the UK, Jamaicans, and friends of Jamaica to support this noble effort.”
