Chelmsford Summer Series unveils huge August bank holiday weekender

From Friday 28th to Sunday 30th August (August Bank Holiday weekend), Chelmsford Summer Series will be taking place to make it a summer to remember. Set to take place at Chelmsford Centre Park, this open-air live music programme will be bringing major UK and international artists to the city across the summer.
With a major list of artists including the Sugababes, who will be headlining on Friday, joined by Annie Mac, Melanie C (DJ Set), Jodie Harsh and ARTHI. It will also see Stage Two hosted by Love Sensation, bringing together a line-up spanning pop, dance and club culture.
Headlining Saturday is none other than McFly as they return to Essex for a special hometown show. The band will be joined by Twin Atlantic, The Ordinary Boys, Rianne Downey and Olivia Rogers, with Stage Two hosted by Garrison. Both the Friday and Saturday presented in association with Heart.
Then closing out the weekend for an unmissable Sunday will be New World Festival, which celebrates its fifth anniversary with Craig David bringing his internationally acclaimed TS5 show to Chelmsford. Joining him will be Kurupt FM, Nathan Dawe, Sigma, Low Steppa, and many more.
With more than 30 artists to cover more than 35 acres of parkland in the heart of the city, Central Park provides a distinctive setting for live music, combining open green space. Chelmsford Summer Series is set to be one of Essex’s standout live music weekends, merging some of the UK’s biggest names in pop, rock, R&B, dance, and electronic music.
