Southend's In The Park festival 2017 is now on sale

The new event will hit Garon Park on Sunday 28th May.

Essex will welcome a new festival this year with the announcement of In The Park Festival, a one-day event on Sunday 28th May. Coming to Southend On Sea's Garon Park, the event plays host to some iconic musical figures, with representatives from some of the world's biggest bands on display. 

Topping the bill at Chinnerys Main Stage concert arena, is From The Jam, centered around founder member and bassist Bruce Foxton and drummer Rick Buckler, whilst pop rock greats The Hoosiers and Toploader will also bring hits galore to the event.

There's a place on the In The Park 2017 line up for Neville Staples of legendary 2 tone outfit The Specials, while 80s figurehead Paul Young will delve into a back catalogue that includes 'Every Time You Go Away', 'Love Of The Common People' 'Wherever I lay My Hat' and heaps more.

Also on the line up are the likes of The Fratellis' Barry Fratelli, along with Ian Punter, Andy Anarchy and Southcurch - grab In The Park Festival tickets below.
