Blackthorn Music Festival 2017 brings indie greats to Stockport in July
Championing the freshest bands, as well as a heap of icons, the festival is set to be a smash once again this year.

Blackthorn Music Festival has built a reputation for bringing the finest guitar wielding acts to Whitebottom Farm in Stockport, and this year is no different. Taking place between Friday 21st and Sunday 23rd July, the event looks to champion up and coming guitar bands while also offering up its main stage for performances from some legendary acts.
Topping the Blackthorn festival 2017 line up are a duo of 90s heroes in Reef and Lightning Seeds. Both are notable for penning some of the finest Britpop bangers, and their headline slots point emphatically toward pissed up singalongs and nostalgia trips aplenty.
The fun doesn't stop there though as a sizeable amount of newcomers light up the bill, with the likes of No Hot Ashes, The Blinders, Dantevilles, Stillia and tonnes more representing the cream of future rock and roll at the festival.
