In 2004, a pair of hip hop powerhouses, MF Doom and Madlib, joined forces to create one of the genre's most critically acclaimed albums, Madvillainy, a musical masterpiece that will live long in rap folklore.

With Madlib's peerless production techniques and Doom's unmistakably laid back flow, the record has earned tonnes of accolades appearing in numerous 'best albums of all time' lists, while also inspiring a raft of new rappers and producers including Joey Bada$$, Tyler, The Creator, Danny Brown, Flying Lotus and plenty more.

Whilst hip hop fans eagerly await a follow up to Madvillainy, there is good news for English fans of the record as the UK's premier hip hop big band, The Abstract Orchestra, will recreate the album in full across a slew of shows this Autumn.

Influenced by the performances of The Roots with Jay Z, the Abstract Orchestra are made up of some of the most talented musicians in the UK, all of which have worked with some of the biggest artists in the world, and are dedicated to honing their sound to exhibit top hip hop recreations.
