    Brilliant event, strange feeling to be searched like you are at an airport. Felt very intrusive, whilst I understand safety, I was a bit taken back by how close and person it was.
    Amazingly organised, very friendly, people of Wolverhampton did their city proud. The orchestra and guy lead singing was amazing, as well as the very well organised bar and food trucks. Great options and not too long a queue. All in all an amazing event.

    West Park Wolverhampton venue information

    West Park is a fine example of a Victorian municipal park and was one of the finest in the country to set a trend for the provision of areas for specific sporting activities (originally bowls, archery and cricket).

    The park is considered to be one of the best, unspoilt examples of a Victorian park left in England and is Wolverhampton's premier open space.

    The park is 17 hectares (roughly 43 acres) in area (including its lake) and provides a beautifully landscaped green space within a ten minute walk of Wolverhampton city centre.

    It also provides significant amenity value to the city's population and to visitors.

    The park serves as the premier venue for events in the city, as well as providing the local community with their recreational space.
