King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have been announced as the headliners for Wide Awake 2024. It seems like a match made in heaven, as the band emphasise the polymorphic attitude to experimental music that Wide Awake always encourages.

The Australian rockers/psychedelic journeymen/metal gods, are gearing up to release their latest album The Silver Cord, which will see them taking from electronic realms, with influences such as Kraftwerk. It may sound similar to their track 'Cyboogie'. Who knows how many more albums the prolific band will have released by the time we get to Wide Awake next year on Saturday 25th May.

Tickets for Wide Awake 2024 are on sale now and you can find them at the bottom of the page. This is just the first name announced and you can expect to see a line-up that encompasses the very best indie, alternative and experimental music from across the world.
