All the big hits and album tracks played without a pause. Great acoustics. Rattus Inheritus are one well devoted and drilled assemblage. Excellent value for money. I would have been happy at twice the price.

The Factory Live venue information

The Factory Live is a 300 capacity space at Soundhouse Studios. It has a great Yamaha sound system installed, well-stocked bar, industry standard lighting, modular stage, a DJ booth, green room and a whole lot more.

Brainchild of Steve Gardner, co-owner of the Soundhouse Music and Dance Studios, the venues calendar is always full of a fantastically eclectic array of gigs and events. since opening, these have included a range from reggae legend Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry to new wave maverick Toyah, from US blues virtuoso Greg Koch to cult indie-folk act Turin Brakes, from Beatbox hero Beardyman to ‘90s indie stars Space, and so many other great musicians and performers.

There are also lively comedy nights, club nights, including the HEROES indie night featuring a DJ set from Carl Barat of The Libertines, burlesque evenings, and regular genre specific events such as the monthly South Coast Blues Jam, something for all ages and tastes.
Factory Live also supports local talent, ranging from rising young bands finding their feet to kids’ Christmas shows.

It’s a space adaptable in size for a wide range of events, and it exudes energy and professionalism.

“It’s such a great space,” Steve enthuses, “We put our backs into it and turned it into a purpose built live music and club venue. There can be 50 kids up on stage singing their hearts out or a four-piece band rockin’ the roof off. We have a state-of-the-art DJ booth, and the whole place has been acoustically tested to get the sound perfect. I really think we can add to what Worthing is becoming.”
