Shame to perform Glastonbury warm-up show at YES, Manchester

The London based Post-Punk outfit will perform a special set with support from experimental rock 4 piece Mush.

With 2019's Glastonbury Festival now just around the corner, artists across the globe appearing over the weekend will be hard at work, rehearsing and making those all-important final set adjustments, for what will arguably be the biggest show on their calendar this year. One of those bands is South London's seething Post-Punk quintet, Shame.  

Coming together whilst still at school, the band, made up of vocalist Charlie Steen, guitarists Sean Coyle-Smith and Eddie Green, bassist Josh Finerty, and drummer Charlie Forbes, have been making waves across the UK, Europe, and the US in support of their debut album 'Songs of praise', and its easy to see why.

The band is often compared to the likes of The Fall and Fugazi. Both the rawness and grit that the aforementioned greats possess is conveyed through the bands' highly energetic live performances and on record.  

On Wednesday 26th June, Shame will appear at one of Manchester's newest music venues, YES to perform a pre-Glastonbury Festival warm-up show, with support coming from Leeds based, experimental rock quartet Mush.
