Optimo celebrates 20th anniversary in August

2017 marks the milestone anniversary of one of Glasgow's most revered clubnights.

Celebrating a milestone birthday at the beginning of August, JD Twitch and JG Wilkes of Optimo have teamed up with SWG3 in Glasgow to commemorate 20 years of the clubnight of the same name, with an all-day festival spanning across three stages.

The event boasts both live and DJ acts, with the duo has handpicking some incredible artists from across the globe to join in the celebrations, artists that they feel best represent the brand’s ethos and will evoke a sense of nostalgia from their early days of hosting Sunday nights back in Sub Club. 

Ben UFO has been confirmed for the DJ line up, along with lauded selectors The Black Madonna and Midland. On the live tip, Jamaican super group Equiknoxx Music and unique musical outfit Nurse With Wound will be making the trip to Glasgow, whilst Happy Meals and Ribecca Mrshall will be representing the home constituency alongside Optimo themselves.

A portion of the profits from tickets will be donated to Glasgow’s Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights, and to various foodbanks across the city. They are available below.
