Taking place over the second May Bank Holiday weekend (between 23rd - 26th May), Knockengorroch World Ceilidh will, as it has done for years, bring music from around the globe to the South West Scotland village that gives the festival its name.

Famous for its eclectic line up, 2019 festival goers can expect a heady mix of electronica, world, folk, fusion and reggae, with no genre ruled out, and a Knockengorroch line up that features a headliner of Benjamin Zephaniah & The Revolutionary Minds, which is surely set to be a masterclass in spoken word poetry, political insight and dub styling.

Joining him on the bill are the likes of Moonlight Benjamin, Talisk, Elephant Sessions, Mungos Hi Fi (complete with their full rig), Dizraeli, Ed Rush & Optical and plenty more.

As well as the musical entertainment, Knockengorroch offers spoken word, cabaret, comedy, spoken word and dance performances as well as a sauna, children's activities and arts and crafts workshops.
