Manchester-based clubnight High Hoops continues an impressive run of shows with two showcases in September at Hidden.

On Saturday 2nd September the regenerated warehouse welcomes Lena Willikens, who tops an eclectic bill of alternate dance talent. Known for her pulsating brand of house, the Düsseldorf-born producer will fill the graffiti-painted venue’s insides with a murky selection of beats.

She will be supported by the masked DJ Stingray (aka Sherad Ingram) from Detroit, who is revered for keeping audiences wedged firmly in the palm of his hand. The techno pioneer’s arsenal of material - which is more than three-dozen releases strong - is littered with off-kilter techno rhythms. Expect a lo-fi and squelching concoction.

High Hoops sees out summer with a celebration of Rush Hour Records’ 20th birthday on Friday 22nd September. Rooted in DIY culture, Rush Hour’s Amsterdam conception was centred on house, techno and everything inbetween. In paying homage to the label’s unique origins, the deep, sunny grooves of vinyl junkie Hunee spearheads the bill. Acclaimed selectors such as San Proper and Cinnaman will also appear.

Tickets for both shows are available below.
