If you weren't in the loop, this year's edition of Parkife ran a little differently. On Sunday 15th June 2025, Parklife in Manchester decided to close their Matinee Stage due to the level of overcrowding, which was meant to be occupied by both Josh Baker and Chris Stussy

While Josh Baker was able to get a few minutes before ending his set, Chris Stussy was unable to perform his extended set and released a statement onto Instagam due to the events stating 'Really gutted I'm unable to perform at Parklife tonight, flew straight from Barcelona to play a 3 hours closing set but due to safety reasons and the stage being over crowded.' Following his statement, Stussy mentioned, 'Despite being disappointed, safety comes first, and we will make this right very soon', and today seems to be the day he lives up to that promise.

Today (Tuesday 24th June 2025), Chris Stussy came to Instagram announcing on his story the first-ever free event, which will take place on Friday 25th July 2025. Extending his gesture as far as possible, the event will be held in Manchester at Victoria Warehouse, all night long, with the rule of no phones.

Chris Stussy's story contains more details on how to sign up, and for those who are not able to get tickets, as he is still working on something special, so keep an eye out!
