Burn It Down Festival to host UK's hottest alternative talents this September

The south-west’s largest indoor festival returns to see out the summer season, showcasing some of the UK alternative scene's best rock, metal and hardcore acts

Date published: 13th Jun 2022

Following on from the success of last year's instalment, Torquay's premier alternative music event, Burn It Down Festival is back, showcasing the UK's hottest alternative acts over two long summer days - From Friday 2nd to Saturday 3rd September 2022.

'The gem of the southern festival calendar’, as its known to many heavy music fans in the UK, Burn It Down is an event like no other, providing festival goers with intimate experiences from some of the biggest names in rock and metal on a backdrop you’d be hard pushed to find at any other event in Britain.

Situated just a stones throw away from the pristine white beaches, crystal clear waters and towering palm trees of the English Riviera, the festival promises revellers a weekend of sun, sand and singalong. An epic end to the festival season.

Taking place across three venues, all within three minutes walk of each other, and with over fifty acclaimed bands performing live, ticket holders won't be disappointed with the entertainment on offer. Friday night will see headliners Deaf Havana taking control of the crowds at The Foundry, whilst Saturday night's top spot is taken by punk rock quintet, Trash Boat. Other notable names appearing over the weekend include Tigercub, Vukovi, Static Dress, Harbinger, Dream Nails and underground heroes the likes of Orchards and Slow Crush.

When the lights come on and all is said and done, make your way to the festival's official afterparty - an event in its own right featuring El Moono and Cage Fight. Join the south coast’s finest DJ’s, take advantage of the exclusive drinks offers and keep the party going way into the early hours.
