Band On The Wall announces 10th anniversary party

The award-winning Manchester music venue will celebrate 10 years since its re-opening in 2009, with an all-day party featuring an array of talented artists.

On Saturday 21st September, Band On The Wall will host an all-day party to commemorate its 10th year since reopening in 2009.

Featuring performances from ten artists, the lineup will include reggae vocalist Hollie Cook (The Slits), underground funk collective Habibi Funk, psych outfit FlamingodsBlue Lab Beats, Katbrownsugar, Me Gusta DJs, Mama Racho, Evabee, P Ro Jones (Lovescene) and DJ Nick Sinna.

The 10th birthday party forms part of the historic venues celebratory season of events, taking part throughout September and October. 

A cornerstone of Manchester’s thriving music and cultural landscape for the greater part of a century, the venue, voted Manchester’s Best Live Venue in the 2019 CityLife Awards, is known for promoting equality and diversity through music.

Over the course of its series of commemorative events, leading artists from multiple disciplines, from around the world will be welcomed onto the Band On The Wall stage.

Attendees can expect to see the likes of jazz-fusion saxophonist YolanDa Brown, alt-folk musician Marika Hackman, Indian percussionist and composer Sarathy Korwar, Ghanaian highlife pioneer Pat Thomas and many, many more.

The event will run from 3pm, concluding at 3am and Band On The Wall 10 year anniversary tickets are available to purchase below.
