Review of Rock the Mote 2024
Great day out, would like to have stayed for the weekend again but couldnât this year. Music was better than last year as the best performers staggered so you didnât feel torn in what stage to go to. Additionally the sound didnât seem to overlap to different areas. The metal stage was great because it was more open, but unfortunately that does mean you lose sound quality, Ironed Maiden you couldnât really hear the singer only the guitarist not sure if it was an acoustics thing or sound tech? My biggest issue with the venue is lack of hand washing facilities, it freaks me out a bit that most people there wouldnât have washed their hands after visiting the loo. Drink is expensive I think it would be better to rob a lot for a little rather than a little for a lot, it meant this year for the most part I stayed on soft drinks and water. A gaming tent would be good that way we can bring the teens and are more likely to do the full weekender and the organisers can make a fortune with the VR etc.

Good quality tribute bands, plenty of choices to listen to, quick service at the bar. Toilets cleaned regularly. Food was a bit overpriced. Two acts cancelled which was a shame but still loved the bands that did perform. Would recommend and definitely go again.

Review of Rock the Mote 2024
Had a great week end the general set out of venue seemed very packed in, and not very spacious for volume of people that attended.
It would be great if next year the following are considered:
the tribute acts had their own t.shirts for sale or the R.T.M t.shirts have the list of tribute acts for each day on the back of them for next year.
A few stalls that sell boutique clothing/jewellry (for the females that like to browse in between bands)
A cash Machine, as the card machines stopped working for a short period on the bar area.

Review of Rock the Mote 2024
Technical issues aside, this was a lovely festival celebrating peoples passion for their favourite bands. However, there are some issues which are easily fixable for next time. The entire crowd waited without update for an hour only to find out at the end of that hour the Foo Fighters GB were not performing. Have some respect for your audiance and keep them in the loop rather than stood there! The sound on the rock stage was consistantly poor and detracted from some fantastic performances. Someone in the sound booth appeared to just be randomly turning instruments on and off. Complaints aside, there was good food variety, good layout of facilities and a really good crowd of people sharing in the moment. Only other slight issue was only one water point and Sunday was especially hot. Thank you.

Really well organised this year. Its our 4th year going and this felt so much better, a real festival vibe. It only took 5 mins to get a drink whereas last year we were waiting closers to 30/40 mins to get a drink each time. The acts on the Saturday were phenomenal.. I wish we'd booked the weekend ticket now lol. The Indian poke bowls were fantastic.
Great event- we'll done all
