Balter Festival has just announced its return for 2024! A year which sees Wales's 'maddest' festival celebrate its 10th birthday, a milestone which organisers promise will result in the biggest and best Balter ever! 

Running across four days at Chepstow Racecourse (Thursday 23rd - Monday 27th May), the festival will again present its renowned programme of eclectic talent, performing a broad range of genres and styles - from drum 'n' bass and jungle to techno, punk, ska and reggae. 

But, being their 10th Birthday and all, they have some mad ideas tucked away that they can't wait to show you on your return.

Whilst the lineup isn't out until January next year, if this year's edition was anything to go by, you won't have to worry for a second about its quality. Plus, with it being a 10-year anniversary, they're bound to pull out all the stops to make it extra special. 

Some of those who played Balter Festival 2023's main stage included Ocean Wisdom, Goldie Lookin Chain, The Dreadnoughts, and Pete & Bas. Plus, across the other stages, the electronic sounds of Dimension, Bou, Mozey, Sammy Virji, Angerfist, Danny Byrd, and so many more got people in a perpetual groove throughout the weekend. 

There isn't just music either. Balter Festival is an all-encompassing experience, boasting wild walkabout and sideshow performances, a variety of amazing art installations, and much more. Not to mention a range of tastebud tantalising food venues, stalls and bars scattered across the site.
