Review of FOLD presents Mannequin Records
Ridiculous that they demand physical id to prove you are over 21. - so patently not a teenager - I am in my 60s and have everything digital now. Was really looking forward to AM and a bit of darkwave - the lineup looked great, which is why we got tickets. There were more people outside who couldn't get in than those allowed through just after midnight, however, puzzling what to do. We had tickets. Ans ID digitally. What is the sense in demanding physical id in 2024? We ended up going home - money wasted. Will not recommend unless they change their policy on this.

Review of FOLD presents Mannequin Records
We have been going to Fold regularly for a long time. This time one of our friends was refused entry at the ID desk and he wasn't told why. He was sober. He has never had any issues at any club. He was told to email for a reason. He did. They replied to say they would check and if it was a mistake he could go back. Then they didn't respond again. I am all for security but to give no reason to someone when you have got them marked on your database is absurd.
Once inside, the music wasn't exactly as expected. Ancient Methods has played awesome synth wave sets recently but not at this synth wave event. Bizarre. Still a great night of music, but it was techno and not what we had hoped for.
