Review of Folk Season - The Ultimate Folk Pop Night - Liverpool

Was expecting live acts from how this was advertised. It was just a DJ and it felt like everyone there was waiting for something to start happening. The interpretative dance was good however they didn't come on much and also there did not seem to be many people there for the size of the venue which didn't make for a great atmosphere.
We bought tickets for a gift for friends engagement and were all a bit disappointed.

The atmosphere was good, some great people there who really brought the vibes. Music was fairly heavy on some artists and not others but we still enjoyed it, and the drinks are about as expensive as you'd expect. Wouldn't reccomend if you like a packed venue but that meant there was plenty of space for dancing.

I don’t drink alcohol and a guiness zero was £4.80 a can which is excessive, the venue was quite empty considering the size of the place. The dj kept playing an upbeat song then another slow song, felt like he wasn’t reading the room
