To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Liverpool Sound City, the festival has unveiled a massive line up for its innovative and informative Sound City + Conference.

The theme for this year's proceedings is revolution, with the Revolution will be Televised panel including American music manager, publicist, journalist and author Danny Fields, Happy Mondays manager Nathan McGough, Sire Records' Seymour Stein and Fat White Family manager Sarah Brooksbank. They will be discussing musical evolutions and how some of the world's biggest acts broke through while DJ Greg Wilson is also in line for a chat with author Tim Lawrence about the revolution of dance music.

A host of separate panels will discuss burning issues in the modern music world, including secondary ticketing, which will include MP Nigel Adams, Fanfair Alliance's Adam Web and our very own Jimmy Coultas. Last year we hosted our own panel on ticketing and we're delighted to be involved for the conversation specifically on secondary ticketing, as it becomes more and more of an issue for music fans.

Also up for discussion is the issues faced by musicians of a certain age, race or gender, along with the success of grime artists in recent years, and advice for emerging artists of all genres. There will also be talks on music technology related subjects such as production, distribution and consumption, while the evolution of Acid House will also be delved into in what is set to be an eclectic selection of engaging conversation across the weekend.
