Fast-rising psychedelic outfit Pigeon have announced a run of UK headline shows for January 2027, including their biggest London date to date at Village Underground.

The tour news arrives as the Margate-based five-piece continues to build momentum following the release of their debut album, OUTTANATIONAL. The band are also preparing for a busy summer that includes festival appearances, a support slot with Duran Duran and a debut performance on Later… with Jools Holland on 7th June.

Alongside the tour announcement, Pigeon have unveiled a video for their current single ‘Future Country’. The track blends the band’s signature mix of danceable rhythms, post-punk energy and global influences, while imagining immigration procedures 100 years into the future.

According to the band, the accompanying video takes the form of a satirical TV news report, following musicians illegally travelling through time in search of work. Styled like a rolling news documentary, it uses humour and science-fiction themes to explore ideas around migration, identity and belonging.

Fronted by vocalist and percussionist Falle Nioke, Pigeon have quickly earned a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting new live acts, with their debut album drawing inspiration from afro-disco, krautrock, funk and post-punk sounds.

Tickets for Pigeon’s January 2027 UK tour are on sale now.
