Named IDRA, here is what we know so far about the opening of Manchester's newest industrial club space

53°28'51.2"N 2°13'35.1"W - these are the coordinates to Manchester's newest club space.
Named IDRA after the machinery, which was formerly one of the UK's largest machine works, this 4,000-capacity venue is one to watch.
Though much hasn't been revealed, what we know so far about Manchester's upcoming club space is that they'll be hosting a series of parties and events, which, according to their website, are "coming to set a new blueprint for dance music in Manchester."
IDRA's website enforces its artistic feel from the jump as you're met with a static video that, when clicked, plays an unrecognisable audio. Plus, with their waveform logo at the top and black and white aesthetic throughout, the anticipation for the opening is high.
Focusing on club, arts and culture, IDRA will be hosting industrial-grade events that you can sign up for on their website to gain early access. The opening of IDRA is set to happen on Saturday 31st January 2026, where Alisha will be bringing her label 'Ulish'.
