As the spring nears and the days get longer, the volume of new events begins to ramp up with epic live music experiences being announced on Skiddle almost every day! This week, in particular, we've been snowed under by a deluge of outrageous parties, set to light up music venues across the land in the coming weeks and months.

An assemblage of acclaimed talents will take to the road in the not-so-distant-future, heading out to destinations UK-wide to entertain the masses, including leading names in drum n bass the likes of Andy C and Hedex, techno specialists Richie Hawtin and Anfisa Letyago, purveyors of disco, Crazy P, and legendary heritage acts, K-Klass and Allister Whitehead. And we've barely scratched the surface here. Seriously. The list goes on and on.

Kasbah presents Andy C & Hedex

When: Sunday 30th April 2023

Where: Kasbah in Coventry

Drum n bass events don't come much bigger than this! Legendary figurehead of the scene, RAM Records boss Andy C heads to Coventry's Kasbah this April to stress test the impressive venue's thumping in-house sound system, with help from a host of some of the genre's most current DJs and producers. Joining the pioneer, fast-rising talents Hedex and Eksman will go full send, spinning a selection of unrelenting, high-octane bangers for 9 hours straight.

CIRCUS presents Richie Hawtin, Anfisa Letyago & more

When: Sunday 9th April 2023

Where: Blackstone Street Warehouse in Liverpool

People of the North West of England! If you're looking to take full advantage of the Easter Bank Holiday, you can't go wrong with what CIRCUS has planned at Liverpool's Blackstone Street Warehouse. 

Going all-out on Sunday the 9th of April, Yousef and the team have put together a stonking lineup of techno superstars to mark the extended weekend break over the second and third public holiday of the year. Confirmed to appear on stage at the colossal rave space, those who get their hands on tickets can expect mind-melting sets from dance veteran Richie Hawtin, Italian powerhouse Anfisa Letyago, German duo Fjaak, Spanish party-starter Indira Paganotto and more. 

Dig deep into your energy reserves and prepare yourselves for a 9-hour dance extravaganza in Liverpool this Easter.

IGNITE presents Black Traffic & Kimmic

When: Saturday 15th - Sunday 16th April 2023

Where: Unit 51 (The Tunnels) in Aberdeen

Aberdeen's premier clubbing destination, Unit 51 is set to welcome one of Ireland's brightest techno stars, Black Traffic next month, with support coming from hardcore dance duo, Kimmic.

The Irish native, who's performed across all 32 counties of his home nation, experienced a whirlwind ride in 2022, with support for his productions coming from some of the scene's most esteemed names - from Rebuke to Trym, Nico Moreno, Blk. and Alesso. Establishing himself as an artist to watch in Ireland's ever-growing and prolific underground scene, the aspiring talent has big plans for the year ahead, with a run of international shows and regular appearances planned in some of Ireland's biggest venues through the spring and summer seasons.

Crazy P Curates: Day Party

When: Saturday 20th May 2023

Where: Propyard in Bristol 

Danielle Moore and the Crazy P crew take over Bristol's Propyard at the opening of the 2023 summer season, for a very special day-long disco soiree. Celebrating the launch of their most recent album on 20/20 Vision Recordings, the funky trio will put on a mastered show, weaving deep electronic beats with slinky underground disco and shimmering pop moments. 

Along for the ride, NTS radio’s Ruf Dugwill join French selector Lea Lisa, Tom from PBR Streetgang and Maxxi Soundsystem, each bringing their own flavours to proceedings on Saturday the 20th of May.

Party right through the day until the sun dips below the horizon at 11 pm on the outdoor courtyard of one of Bristol's best-loved venues.

The Official Satchmos Reunion: Day Party

When: Sunday 28th May 2023

Where: Aynsley Mill in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent

A lineup made up of the best DJ talents Britain has produced over the past 3 decades is coming to Stoke-on-Trent this summer, to commemorate one of the city's former nightclubs, the legendary Satchmos. 

Bringing back the sounds which once filled the now-defunct nightclub, the Official Satchmos Reunion Party, taking place over the late May Bank Holiday weekend, will feature funky house sets from icons of the northern dance scene, Allister Whitehead and K-Klass with support from local heroes Pete Bromley, Lee Fredericks, Matt Erst and Andy Fryer. 

Take a trip down memory lane and relive the experience of raving at one of the 90s most frequented clubbing spots this May.

The Move presents Sarah Story

When: Saturday 6th - Sunday 7th May 2023

Where: The Sugarmill in Stoke-on-Trent

British DJ and popular BBC Radio 1 broadcaster, Sarah Story links up with event brand, The Move for yet another massive party in Stoke this May.

Best known for championing the freshest new acts on Radio 1's Future Dance show, Story has been busy as of late working on her own career as an artist whilst carrying out her responsibilities with the BBC. Citing influences from the likes of Jaguar, Mella Dee, ABSOLUTE, La La, and, of course, the original Radio 1 tastemaker, Annie Mac, she's taken inspiration from all of her peers, crafting her own unique sound and finding an audience amongst the devout British dance contingent.

Elektra presented by Charlie Sparks

When: Friday 28th April 2023

Where: Hidden in Manchester

Arguably the UK's leading techno event brand, Teletech has joined forces with London-based heavyweight, Charlie Sparks to bring his Elektra brand and live show to life at Manchester's Hidden in little over a month's time.  

Running across two stages inside the labyrinth-like venue, the event will see Sparks hammering out a mammoth DJ set, commanding crowds all night long in room 1, whilst Vall Du Son, Impulsive Behaviour and Lessss go full throttle in room 2. 

For those who like their dance music fast and hard, there's nowhere else you need to be on Friday 28th April.

Dance Corp presents One Summer Day ft. Dan Shake & more

When: Saturday 3rd June 2023

Where: Propyard in Bristol

The sunshine seasons are now within sight and, like us, the team of trusty organisers at Dance Corp events are getting giddy. Recently taking to social media, the brand announced its first open-air party of summer 2023, 'One Summer Day', set to be held in the courtyard of Bristol's celebrated events space, Propyard.

Confirmed and on the bill, punters on the day will be spoilt to live sets from Dan Shake, the only DJ outside of Detroit to land a release on Moodymann’s prestigious record label Mahogani Music, Y U QT, Elkka, Shy One and more.

Expect wild daytime antics and a mix of UK garage, house, and disco, all whilst being bathed by the warm summer sun, at what is set to be a truly unforgettable party in the south this June.

Simon Says presents Disrupta

When: Wednesday 29th - Thursday 30th March 2023

Where: White Noise in Nottingham

Nottingham's Simon Says, one of the newest drum n bass event brands on the UK scene, will host award-winning talent, Disrupta at the end of the month.

The breakthrough act of 2021, who achieved the top spot on the Beatport charts and has issued releases on notable labels such as Born On The Road and Hospital Records, will showcase his studio production prowess as well as his skills behind the ones and twos at Nottingham's latest music venue, White Noise On Wednesday 29th March.

Motive 16+ Raves presents Shy FX

When: Friday 23rd June 2023

Where: The Arch in Brighton

With over 1000 avid ravers on the waiting list for this month's event, which sold out 6 weeks in advance of the date, Motive Raves felt obliged to organise yet another epic 16+ party, this time welcoming a true pioneer of UK jungle - Shy FX.

Heading back to The arch in Brighton on Friday 23rd June, underage partygoers will get to experience exactly why Shy FX is regarded as one of the best to ever do it. With club weapons such as 'Bye Bye BYe', 'Roll The Dice' and jungle anthem, 'Orginal Nuttah' in his arsenal, you can expect this event to be one of the loudest and rowdiest events taking place on the south coast of England this year.
