Inaugural Liverpool festival Melon Yellow has announced its full line up for a "celebration of Shoegaze, Punk, Arts & Sustainability" on Saturday 14th March 2020.

Taking place at Invisible Wind Factory, the event has named one of the leading lights in the 90s shoegaze scene Ride as its headliner, who famously reunited back in 2014 and have now released two full length studio albums since rekindling the group, the latest Not a Safe Place was released earlier in 2019.

Also on the Melon Yellow 2020 line up are the likes of TURNOVER, THE REGRETTES, Lauren Hibberd, St Martiins, Gaffa Tape Sandy and Newmoon with many more artists to be revealed soon.

Festival organisers at Melon Yellow have also revealed plans on how they are set to make their event more sustainable than many others:

"No festival merch. Instead there will be live screen printing and you can bring anything to be printed. Give a new life to that old T-shirt you’re not using.

No single use plastics. By having a multi use cup you can purchase on site there will be no need to throw any plastics away.

No paper tickets or wristbands. As we mentioned we're trying to cut down on single use anything!"

Melon Yellow, Liverpool 2020 tickets are available now, and you can find yours below.
