Long Island Sound drop first release of 2026 with ‘Searching (Live Mix)’

The Dublin duo’s first release of the new year is a live mix of a standout from their 2024 album ‘Hydra’.

Long Island Sound have dropped their first single of the year with ‘Searching (Live Mix)’. Considered a favourite from the Dublin duo’s live setlists, the track is their first release of the new year. 

‘Searching (Live Mix)’ is a reworking of the pair’s track ‘Searching’, a cut from their album Hydra, which was released in 2024 via Seb Wildblood’s label All My Thoughts, and is the newest in a line of recent singles that include ‘CV/Gate’, ‘Gone’, and ‘Stung’ which dropped in 2025. Long Island Sound members Rob Roche and Tim Nolan recently spoke to Skiddle about ‘Stung’, where they discussed the track’s inspirations, composition, and production process.
