Liverpool Book Festival returns with Boxpark summer special

The popular Liverpudlian literary event returns with a one day summer event at Boxpark Liverpool on Sunday 2nd August.

Popular literary event Liverpool Book Festival will return with a one day summer special at Boxpark on Sunday 2nd August 2026. The festival, put on by organisers La Vida Liverpool, will feature over 60 bestselling and independent authors and publishers, with the opportunity to buy their work directly. Over 1000 guests are expected to walk through the doors of Boxpark Liverpool in early August. 

Among the celebrity guests selling their books are celebrity chef Dave Critchley, SAS veteran Rusty Firmin, comic book writer Tim Quinn and cartoonist Kev Sutherland, crime bestseller Conrad Jones alongside other indie authors and publishers. In addition to the scribers, an array of artisan stalls and street food stalls are available, with Q&A’s, film screenings, live poetry and even a hypnosis demonstration amid the options at this year’s one day event. 

Liverpool Book Festival’s 2026 return follows an edition in March earlier this year, and recently recieved coverage from BBC News and took away bronze at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards in the Event/Festival of the Year category.  You can buy tickets for Liverpool Book Festival on Skiddle now.
