Kraftwerk announce 50th anniversary reissue of ‘Radio-Activity’
Kraftwerk mark 50 years of ‘Radio-Activity’ with new Dolby Atmos, vinyl and Blu-ray editions, with long-awaited UK & Ireland tour on the horizon.
Date published: 19th Mar 2026
Kraftwerk have announced a 50th anniversary reissue of their landmark 1975 album Radio-Activity, arriving on Blu-ray, Vinyl & Digital, complete with new artwork, on 15th May 2026 via Parlophone.
Widely regarded as the group’s first fully electronic record, Radio-Activity is being reimagined across multiple formats, including a brand-new Dolby Atmos mix created from the original 16-track tapes by founder Ralf Hütter and engineer Fritz Hilpert at Kling Klang Studio, one which "brings vivid new shading, forensic detail and richly layered cinematic depth" to the "boldly experimental" album.

Alongside the new immersive mix, the release will be available as a Blu-ray audio edition (which will include three versions of the record - the Dolby Atmos mix, a 5.1 mix derived from it, and a high-resolution stereo remaster), a 12” vinyl picture disc with updated artwork, and across digital platforms.
The anniversary also comes with a wider celebration, as Kraftwerk prepare to head out on a 17-date UK and Ireland multimedia tour in May and June 2026, marking their first shows across the region in nine years.
