Huge Manchester BBQ Festival primed for Depot Mayfield’s rooftop

Cuisines and traders from across the city will converge for a rooftop BBQ festival at Depot Mayfield on the August Bank Holiday.

A cast of Manchester’s most celebrated traders and cuisines will converge on the rooftop of Depot Mayfield for a BBQ festival this August Bank Holiday. Presented by Manchester’s Finest, Live At The Grill will feature award-winning cooking, stages curated by several of the city’s music institutions, and merch collaborations. 

Among the food vendors turning on the stove in August are Argentine live-fire specialists 1415 Asado, Pappy’s Texas BBQ, Michelin-starred Alchemilla, Stow, Café Continental, Kallos, and Knight’s BBQ, with all vendors offering a £5 dish and a £15 dish. Limited edition merch collaborations between the vendors and Mancunian clothing brands Clints, Bound, Permanent Orbit and more will be available on the weekend. 

In addition to the food, the weekend will be divided into four sessions - a Habitat-curated and MJ Cole-headlining Saturday daytime; Renae-curated Saturday evening; and both Band on the Wall and soul act Children of Zeus headlining Sunday both day and night. 

Live At The Grill is set to take place on the rooftop of Depot Mayfield on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August 2026.
