Glide at Battersea Power Station brings huge ice rink and skate trial to London this Christmas

Now with three ice rinks, interconnected by a scenic skate trail, this is one of London's best winter attractions, set in front of one of its most iconic buildings

Boots Presents Glide at Battersea Power Station, London’s only riverside ice rink, is returning this winter, and this year it brings with it London’s first-ever scenic ice-skating trail, lavishly decorated with a majestic 30ft Christmas tree, breathtakingly set against the backdrop of the iconic Grade II* listed industrial vista.

Featuring not one but three ice rinks, all interconnected with a new 200 metre scenic skate trail, the stunning open-air attraction offers plenty of space for beginners to seasoned skaters alike to enjoy, and will also feature vintage fairground rides, themed skate nights, KISS DJ sets, Boots Masterclasses and much more.

Away from the rink, the surroundings of Battersea Power Station will also be exploding in festive cheer. The Glasshouse Bar hosts Prime Time Sessions every Friday night, soundtracked by KISS DJs; Boots Masterclasses pop up most Wednesdays, collaborating with beauty brands like NARS and LANEIGE; and Face Painting in aid of the NSPCC happens every Sunday.

You can also unwind in the warmth of the private hire Igloos, or, if you're feeling fun and nostalgic, you can head to the vintage carousel, helter skelter, and - new for this year - onsite darts and curling, alongside returning favourites like the colours game and tin can alley.

Boots Presents Glide at Battersea Power Station is open now until Sunday 4th January 2026. Check the website for daily session times, but tickets will be from £17 for Adults and £10.50 for Children (aged 12 and under). Booking fees apply.
