Eric Prydz is pulling back the curtain on one of the most mind-bending live shows in dance music, launching a brand-new three-part docuseries chronicling the making of Holosphere 2.0 - with Part One of three out on YouTube now.
Eric Prydz presents Holosphere 2.0 | Part 1: Building the Sphere dives deep into the five-year journey behind Prydz’s generational leap forward in live electronic production. This opening episode breaks down how the team brought the eight-tonne, eight-metre-high sphere to life. Showing them using thousands of custom-made pieces, brand-new feature film-level animations, 3D holographic visuals, and multi-layered transparent LEDs to build a fully immersive 360° experience.

"This show, the technology, and the size of it has never been done before, ever," said Prydz.
Holosphere 2.0 pushes the boundaries of the HOLO shows that came before. Working with cutting-edge visual artists, including GMUNK, the production wraps the dancefloor in mind-bending “digital sculptures” - from crystal orbs to plasma balls - perfectly mapped onto the Sphere’s near-transparent structure.
If you want to see Holosphere 2.0 in the flesh, Prydz is bringing it to Ibiza’s massive new superclub [UNVRS] every Monday, all season long, from now through 1st September. Expect eight metres of audiovisual mayhem towering over the crowd - and a glimpse of the future of large-scale electronic shows.
Tickets and VIP bookings for Eric Prydz presents Holosphere 2.0 at UNVRS are live now. Stay tuned for Parts 2 and 3 of the docuseries dropping soon.
