Drumsheds' False Idols to bring liberation to London this weekend

Here's what you need to know about False Idols, which takes place on Saturday 2nd December.

Date published: 30th Nov 2023

This Saturday, December 2nd marks the first edition of False idols at Drumsheds, an event which is all about inclusion and connection on the dancefloor. They've invited down an eclectic mixture of DJ's to the venue, who each offer their own joyous style of music.

One of the headline names will be that of Sugababes, the iconic girl group who delivered tracks such as 'Push The Button', 'About You Now' and 'Hole In The Head'. If you want to check out their dancefloor credentials then just take a look at their Boiler Room set.

Another name to keep an eye on is the Mercury Prize-nominated Shygirl as well as Eliza Rose, who is known for her breakthrough hit 'Baddest Of The All' and Ross From Friends who delivers lo-fi and House tunes.

Spread across all three rooms of the venue, False Idols focuses on championing a judgement-free environment where queerness and self-expression combine in a hedonistic pursuit as you rave away all night long.

There are still a few limited tickets left for False Idols that you can snap up before the weekend. You can find them towards the bottom of the page. Drumsheds also just announced their Spring/Summer shows for 2024 and you can find out more information here.
