This week on Days Out With Skiddle we have a wide range of events for all kinds of interests. Over the next few months, we have Oktoberfest and Halloween coming up and we've got a couple of brilliant suggestions if you're thinking of booking early. There's live comedy, bottomless brunches and theatre for you to enjoy too.

 

It's A Roar Comedy Club Presents: Jamie Hutchinson

When: Tuesday 15th August

Where: Hard Rock Cafe, Newcastle

The It's A Roar Comedy Club is welcoming a special headliner in Jamie Hutchinson to their comedy show at the Hard Rock Cafe in Newcastle. He'll be joined by other names such as Silham Shazad, James Kilvington and Britain's Got Talent finalist Danny Posthill. 

 

 


 

Newsham Scream Park

When: Friday 13th October

Where: Newsham Park Orphanage and Asylum, Liverpool

We hope you're looking for some thrills this Halloween as the Newsham Scream Park will be the perfect place to attend for all those who like to get a bit of a scare every now and then. There are three scare attractions for you to explore from the Insanitorium to The Orphanage and HELLuminati, with the latter being strictly 18+. 

 

 


 

August House Presents: The Glitterball Brunch

When: Saturday 5th August

Where: August House, Glasgow

DJ Elisha Mac will be on hand at this brunch event in Glasgow to give you the best Techno and House music tunes to get you shaking your hips. In association with Absolut and Belvedere Vodka, you'll get a welcome cocktail on arrival and enjoy some stunning food and drink options.

 

 


 

Oktoberfest- Salisbury Guildhall

When: Saturday 7th October

Where: Salisbury Guildhall, Salisbury

Time to get your Oktoberfest cap on already and book a place whilst you can. In Salisbury, this will be one of their biggest-ever Oktoberfest events and they are determined to deliver a high-energy experience and of course, no shortage of steins to be found. 

 

 


  

Post Malone Bottomless Ball Pit Brunch

When: Saturday 29th July

Where: Ball Park, Liverpool

You've heard of Harry Styles brunches, you've heard of Taylor Swift brunches, now Post Malone has a bottomless ball pit brunch and who doesn't love the American rapper? This will be dedicated to all things Posty, you'll hear all of his best tunes and you can thrash about in the ball pit to your heart's content.

 

 


 

The Gunpowder Plot

When: Wednesday 19th July- Wednesday 26th July

Where: The Gunpowder Plot, London

There's just something about The Gunpowder Plot that British people can't get enough of. Well, now the theatre show is coming towards the end of its current run and there are still some tickets left for you to snap up. It features Harry Potter's own Tom Felton in the starring role.

 

 


 

Alfie Brown

When: Wednesday 18th October

Where: The Leadmill, Sheffield

The talented Alfie Brown is coming to Sheffield in October. If you're not familiar with his work, he was nominated for the main prize at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2022. He is currently touring his show Red Flags Galore which deals with all the complexities of relationships. 

 

 


 

Lichfield Dining Club

When: Saturday 29th July

Where: Beacon Park, Lichfield

Digbeth Dining Club are back in Lichfield for another one of their pop-up dining clubs. A festival of food awaits you where you'll be treated to award-winning dishes and a wide culinary pallette which will have you wanting more and more.
