DJ legend Sasha announces huge show in Manchester this April

The forward-thinking producer and all-around icon of the electronic music scene will showcase his sought-after skills behind the decks at Manchester rave space, The Progress Centre

Date published: 7th Feb 2023

Influential producer and acclaimed turntablist, DJ Sasha makes his long-overdue return to the capital of Northern England on Saturday 29th April, performing at Manchester venue, The Progress Centre alongside supporting acts Mr Sosa, Gemma Arnott and Gareth Cole.

One of the most important figures in contemporary dance music, the Welsh native, real name Alexander Paul Coe, has been moving audiences across the world with his eclectic, genre-spanning live performances for over three decades.

The undisputed OG superstar DJ, the first jet-setting name in the electronic scene, paving the way for present-day EDM titans such as Calvin Harris and Diplo, has quite simply accomplished it all. From taking on one-off sets at mammoth festival events the likes of Glastonbury and Coachella and holding multiple residencies at superclubs on the dance mecca isle of Ibiza to collecting basically every DJ award there is, he's still very much an in-demand talent today, who continues to set the bar high among his DJ peers.

Reinventing his sound and image in recent times, his music has kept pace with the ever-changing electronic music soundscape, with fans across the world still scrambling to acquire hard-to-come-by tickets to witness the legend at work. Landing in Manchester for a Bank Holiday showdown this April, much to the delight of rave revellers in the city, we expect tickets for this special show to be equally as difficult to secure.

Tickets for Sasha's daytime party at The Progress Centre, running from 2 pm until 11 pm, are due to go on sale this Friday at 9 am. Head to the bottom of the page now to sign up for a reminder and be the first in the queue when tickets become available.
