Blawan announces new album ‘SickElixir’ and reveals lead single

The South Yorkshire DJ described his upcoming album as “deeply personal, and a reflection of my real voice”, which is set for release on 10th October.

Blawan has announced his new album SickElixir, set for release on Friday 10th October, and shared its lead single ‘NOS’. The South Yorkshire DJ and producer is making his debut on XL Recordings and will commemorate the new release with a series of live dates and a DJ set at Overmono’s Warehouse Project night on Saturday 18th October.

Announcing the new record on his social media, the Yorkshireman said, “Making music for me has always been way more than just beats and noises. It’s my main form of communication that I use to understand myself and the reality I inhabit. SickElixir feels like my real debut, it’s deeply personal and a reflection of my real voice, my life and struggles. So I hope by listening to this album you learn a little bit about who I am”
