Beatport Live and Appetite on the Farm have launched a new DJ competition offering two emerging artists the chance to perform at the Essex festival this August Bank Holiday, with entries closing this Wednesday.
The two winners will each land a 60-minute set on The Block, Beatport Live's custom-built Funktion-One stage dedicated to spotlighting emerging electronic talent, appearing alongside surprise sets from artists across the festival lineup. They'll also receive VIP festival passes for themselves and three guests, an Excite Audio plugin bundle, three months of Beatport Streaming, Beatport merchandise and more.
Entries close at 5pm this Wednesday 12th August; find out more info and how to enter below.
The selectors selected will see their opportunity unfold when Appetite on the Farm returns to Kelvedon Hall on 29th and 30th August for its fifth and biggest edition yet.
Expanded to a 20,000-capacity for 2026, the festival brings together both the biggest names and best emerging talent across two days, with the likes of Obskur, Jamie Jones, Skream, MJ Cole, Eliza Rose, Shanti Celeste, Kolter, Todd Edwards, Silva Bumpa, Dr Banana, Luke Dean and more heading to the Essex countryside.
For those two deserving winners, that means the chance to put their sound in front of an Appetite crowd and share the stage with heroes, inspirations and fellow names shaping what comes next.
To enter, DJs simply need to submit a mix through the competition page before 5pm on Wednesday 12th August.
