Trance DJ and producer Armin van Buuren has announced the forthcoming release of his ninth studio album, Breathe Out.
One year after the release of Breathe In, an album centred around Armin van Buuren’s journey of reconnecting with his fans and the music he loves, the Dutch producer has announced the second part of his ninth studio album, titled Breathe Out.
The follow-up to the previous album, both in sound and meaning, Breathe Out was inspired by van Buuren's stronger sense of self, more creativity, and a more dauntless approach to studio work.
“Breathe Out really shows how far I’ve come, not just as an artist, but as a person,” van Buuren shares. “This album is about creative freedom, living fully, and putting everything I’ve learned – especially through my journey with mental health and self-growth – into the music. In many ways, it feels like coming full circle.”
Due to be released on Friday 27th June, the album will feature 39 new tracks, with appearances from Pendulum & Rob Swire, Moby, and more. The album will be released via Armada Music, a label co-founded by van Buuren.
Armin van Buuren is one of the world’s biggest DJs, best known for his work in trance music.
On the scene since the 90s, he is best known for tracks like ‘Blah Blah Blah’, ‘This Is What It Feels Like’ - for which he received a Grammy nomination -, and ‘On & On’, all of which have hundreds of millions of streams on Spotify.
