Armada Music unveils new London hub with studios and event space

The six-floor creative complex in Shoreditch comes complete with state-of-the-art recording studios, offices and a 130-capacity venue to support UK and international talent.

Armada Music Group has officially opened a sprawling new creative complex in London; a multi-use six-floor hub in the heart of Shoreditch, designed to serve as both a recording studio and an event space for its global roster. 

The 7,000 square foot facility on Old Street houses two custom-built recording studios equipped with top-tier gear - monitors from PMC and Barefoot Sound, synthesisers from Roland, Nord and Sequential - and spaces geared towards songwriting camps. In addition, there’s a dedicated event venue with a club-grade L-Acoustics sound system, live streaming capabilities, and room for around 130 guests. Listening rooms for A&R listening sessions and administrative and creative workspaces for up to 60 full-time staff are also part of the setup.  

Armada says the space is integral to its growing UK presence, enabling more support for its artists, songwriters and producers, and is ideally situated in one of dance music’s key markets. The group opened its first London office back in 2017, and since then, the UK has become its second-largest streaming region, prompting an expansion of its team. CEO Maykel Piron described the move as "reinforcing Armada’s commitment to innovation and artist development in the UK".  

UK artists already working with the group, such as SHELLS and SILK, have praised the facility for its acoustics, vision and convenience. The hub will also support internationally known names on the roster including Armin van Buuren, Joris Voorn, THEMBA, Lilly Palmer and ARTY.  Ben Malone, General Manager of Armada UK, said the hub will help the label better champion local talent and foster creativity across the region.
