Birmingham Restaurant Festival returns to the city in August.

The month-long festival takeover returns for its fifth year to celebrate the city’s foodie scene, taking over Birmingham and its surrounding suburbs.

29 restaurants, including Michelin-starred favourites, have been revealed so far, and each will present a special “great value” set menu - with lunch and dinner options available - from 1st to 31st August 2026.

Among the 29 restaurants revealed so far is Michelin-starred The Wilderness, a restaurant by Alex Claridge in the Jewellery Quarter. Established in 2015, it’s been serving up provocative tasting menus with anarchy and experimentation at its heart.

Vieni, having received rave reviews since its opening in The Goodsyard earlier this year, will deliver Sicilian dishes from chef Angelina Adamo. Celebrating Sicilian heritage but going beyond the typical staples, Vieni focuses on big cuts of meat and whole fish cooked over coal.

Also joining the lineup are three restaurants that were voted as having the best menus at last year's edition. These are Michelin-trained chef Kray Treadwell’s 670 Grams, Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant Adams, and contemporary steakhouse Cow & Sow.

Other participating restaurants include Primitivo Bar & Eatery, Hotel Du Vin, Gaucho, Regina’s, Flight Club, Chez Mal Bar & Brasserie, The Cosy Club (Bennetts Hill), Chung Ying Cantonese, Restaurant At The Woods, Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill, and more.

The full venue lineup will be revealed closer to the event.

On 18th June 2026, once the full venue lineup and all festival menus have been revealed, you’ll be able to book your reservation on Birmingham Restaurant Festival’s website.

Birmingham Restaurant Festival has also announced its new Birmingham Food Tour for those of you who can’t wait until their festival in August. The tour will run year-round and offer foodies a guided four-hour experience that introduces them to the city’s rich food heritage, stopping at six handpicked eateries in the Jewellery Quarter and Birmingham City Centre.

The tours will be running on Saturday afternoons from 18th April - you can book via the Birmingham Restaurant Festival website for £99pp.
