Skiddle Gift Card Terms & Conditions


1. General Information

  1. 1.1 Skiddle digital Gift Cards ("Gift Cards") are issued by Skiddle Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number: 05688116), with a registered office at Ashley Hall Farm, Inglewhite Road, Preston, PR3 2EB, and VAT registration number GB 879 2762 64 ("Skiddle", "we", "us", "our").

  2. 1.2 Gift Cards can be purchased online via our website and are issued in GBP (£). They are not purchasable in any other currency.

  3. 1.3 The Gift Card balance represents a pre-paid amount and is not a credit, debit, or charge card. Balances do not accrue interest and cannot be redeemed for cash.

  4. 1.4 To purchase a Gift Card, you must be 18 or older and use a valid payment method.

  5. 1.5 Gift Cards are valid for 5 (Five) years from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated. After expiry, unused balances cannot be redeemed or refunded.

  6. 1.6 The receiver of the Gift Card must create a Skiddle account or use an existing one to redeem the Gift Card which will be added on the account as Credits which can in turn be used to purchase Tickets on the Skiddle website.

  7. 1.7 Credits which are redeemed will be available on your Skiddle account for 5 (five) years from the Gift Card date of purchase and cannot be transferred to any other Skiddle account.

  8. 1.8 These Terms and Conditions incorporate our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. By purchasing or redeeming a Gift Card, you agree to these Terms.

2. Purchase and Redemption

  1. 2.1 Gift Cards can only be used to purchase tickets or products available on Skiddle's platform.

  2. 2.2 The recipient of the Gift Card must create a Skiddle account to redeem the balance.

  3. 2.3 Gift Cards are valid for all ticketed events and products available on Skiddle.

3. Delivery

  1. 3.1 Gift Cards are delivered electronically via email to the recipient specified at the time of purchase.

  2. 3.2 It is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure the recipient's email address is accurate. Skiddle is not liable for non-receipt due to incorrect details provided.

4. Balance Usage and Expiry

  1. 4.1 The Gift Card balance can be used for full or partial payments of eligible purchases on Skiddle.

  2. 4.2 All of the Gift Card balance must be used in full for any purchases and part balance payments cannot be made.

  3. 4.3 Remaining balances can be applied to future purchases within the validity period.

  4. 4.4 Once the balance is fully spent or expired, the credits become invalid.

  5. 4.5 Credits redeemed from a Gift Card are treated as monetary value and subject to Skiddle’s Terms and Conditions for ticket purchases.

5. Refunds and Cancellation

  1. 5.1 Purchasers have a right to cancel their purchase within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, provided the balance has not been redeemed.

  2. 5.2 Refunds will only be issued to the original purchaser and payment method used.

  3. 5.3 Skiddle does not offer refunds for unused or partially used Gift Cards after the cooling-off period.

  4. 5.4 Cancelled events which have been paid for with gift cards will be credited to the account that purchased the tickets.

  5. 5.5 Gift Cards cannot be exchanged or refunded in cash.

6. Fraud and Misuse

  1. 6.1 Skiddle reserves the right to suspend or cancel Gift Cards suspected of fraud, misuse, or unauthorised activities.

7. Data Privacy

  1. 7.1 Personal data collected during purchase and redemption will be handled per Skiddle's Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

  1. 8.1 Skiddle is not responsible for issues outside our reasonable control, including events organised by third-party promoters.

  2. 8.2 Skiddle's liability is limited to the balance remaining on the Gift Card.

9. Governing Law

  1. 9.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. Any disputes arising from this agreement fall under the jurisdiction of the English courts.

10. Amendments

  1. 10.1 Skiddle reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions with reasonable notice where required by law or operational necessity.
